A strong philosophy for children in our care.

Through the years, working closely with my staff, we developed the philosophy and the curriculum we knew was best for children in child care.

There are conditions under which children thrive and conditions under which children do not. One of the strongest fundamental tenets of Rainbow’s philosophy is connection and the importance of establishing and helping children learn how to make connections. Connection - is how all of us are neuro-biologically wired: it is why we are here and it is what gives meaning and purpose to our lives. At Rainbow we give special attention to maintaining an environment that is alive, welcoming, and authentic to which a child feel secure in their community - One in which they can build positive friendships, where they know they can depend on teachers to be supportive and loving and where families and teachers work together to ensure each child knows and feels a strong sense of worthiness. It is fundamental to Rainbow’s philosophy to maintain the integrity of our environment. We see every day that when this environment is strong, teachers, parents, and most importantly children flourish.
