Climate Control

Careful attention to the environment is an essential element of Rainbow’s philosophy. We know that when children are in an environment that respects all aspects of who they are; as young active and curious learners, full of potential, competent and capable beings and thus have the right to be recognized as such. A child who is in a mindfully healthy and respectful environment will indeed thrive. One aspect of my job every day was to ensure that the “climate” of the school was impeccable…fun, active, intriguing, respectful, caring, hands-on, and a place to be safe in all of their learning experiences including disagreements and frustration.
