At Rainbow Child Care Center, our days are bright and colorful, and learning and fun go hand in hand. At various times of day, you can find children curled on a sofa for a storybook; engrossed in an art or science project; learning signs to accompany a song in circle time; climbing into the pirate ship or our playground tree house; or just laughing with a friend. Whatever the season or activity, we strive to make every day shine. One of the strongest fundamental tenets of Rainbow’s philosophy is connection and the importance of establishing and helping children learn how to make connections. Connection - is how all of us are neuro-biologically wired: it is why we are here and it is what gives meaning and purpose to our lives. At Rainbow we give special attention to maintaining an environment that is alive, welcoming, and authentic to which a child feel secure in their community - One in which they can build positive friendships, where they know they can depend on teachers to be supportive and loving and where families and teachers work together to ensure each child knows and feels a strong sense of worthiness.
